Introducing to the forum ...

maya

As some have seen, I've been posting in the 4g Forum for the past few days, talking about my new 6-speed. By way of introduction, I come from the CL forum, where this was my Daily Driver

But after 7 years, 1 month, and 221,108 miles ... I wanted to move on. This is what I settled on (excuse the appearance but this was nothing more than a wash ... coats and coats of Zaino to follow)

I'll soon be changing my username as it no longer applies, and I hope to be able to interact on this forum as I did on the CL forum prior to my unofficial departure in April of '05.

Enjoy the picsl

Congrats! The color combo looks great. What're you gonna do with the HPTs once winter strikes?

Congrats! Personally, I'm not too keen on pumpkin-colored interiors but whatever floats your boat.

You 6MT guys are forming into a nice, little group here, hehe.

Don't get me wrong, this is the car of my dreams, but your pictures could be a little bit better... did you resize them or something? They look weird.

I'm up for better pictures and in ideal light conditions (cloudy or dawn/dusk) so that there's not so much light reflection and the true colors pop out at the camera (not to mention that hot paint!).

I noticed that I had the camera set with the flash and on the "close-up" setting after I took the interior shots. It's an older 3.3mp. Also, I didn't use my D-SLR (haven't sat down with the manual yet). That's why there is a slight fuzzyness to the distant shots. Finally, the metallic won't pop in cloudy conditions ... would look like solid brown chocolate. Was the same way with my Anthracite. Finally ... as I indicated ... car has yet to be Zaino'd. Just wanted to get some shots out there as I didn't think there had been a whole lot of the Mayan's sold ... esp the SH-AWD MT's.

God that's beautiful man! Congrats!

I know it's quite an upgrade, but do your miss your CL-S at all? I had a 01 ABP CL and even though I love my 3G TL, I still miss it sometimes.

I'm sure your CL is nice too...

But after test driving and re-test driving so many cars (335, A4, S4, G37, WRX, etc...), this 6spd TL is seriously one bad m*****f****r

No other car (at least not that I know of) combines so much naturally aspirated power, refinement, luxury, cabin space, comfort, and reliability into one. None.

^Just to throw some more hype out there, we can add safety, inital value and projected resale to that already impressive list.
