Instrument Panel Brightness Issue

Instrument Panel Brightness Issue

So I have a 2009 TL, where the miles show in the indicator. It’s really Dim any one how I can fix that or what needs to be done ? It’s very hard to see in the day time . Any help would be much appreciated TIA .

There’s a panel to the left of the steering wheel. There’s 2 buttons where you can turn the brightness up and down.

I seen that one but it’s all the way up and during the day it’s really hard to see I don’t know what else to do I don’t know it anyone had this problem

See page 138 in the 2009 TL Owner's Manual:

To reduce glare at night, the instrument panel illumination dims when you turn the light switch to on or high beam. To cancel the glare reduction function, set the brightness to the highest level, then press the + button. You will hear a beep when it is canceled.

When the brightness reaches the maximum level, ‘‘BRIGHTNESS MAXIMUM LEVEL’’ appears on the display.
