congrats on the purchase! Are you going to plasti-dip the grille?

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
I second the plasti-dip. Unless you can perform magic and make it an A6.

What does it take to fit the 2012+ grille? IMO that looks a LOT better than the 09-11.

Thanks everyone. Yeah think I'm Gona have it painted body match. But should I do entire thing or maybe some type of pattern? Any good photo shoppers out there?
Then should I match the read bumper insert?
I also was considering adding the factory remote start, any forum reviews on it?

Just paint-match all the chrome parts.

rock the block
+1 for painting, the contrast of plastidip against the glossiness of the paint will really bug you after a while. I did both my front grille and the rear boomerang and don't regret it one bit, really ties the whole car together.

625k or Bust!
I'm also with the paint vs. dip. Just keep in mind that it will dry from the outside in & will need a good month or two to fully cure & harden. So during that time it will be 10 times more susceptible to rock chipping. If you have another car, drive it instead for a while after painting the grille. if not, than stay away from any truck in sight. It'd be a shame to spend the money only to end up with it all chipped up anyways.
