I managed to get to around the Pittsburgh, PA area when the seller texted me to not come anymore because they changed their mind about selling the car... Needless to say, that was extremely disappointing... I've done way too much research this week on the platform, and am sold on it. I won't say which platform yet, however, it will be my next car.

So, I was in the 6AT for almost two weeks since I was attempting to purchase a new car/platform, and just been driving it instead of swapping back and forth. Yesterday, I swapped back into the 6MT. Oh my, how I've missed the glorious shifts! This gif comes to mind in regards to how I felt:

Today, the third consecutive sale has failed for the next platform that I want to purchase. I can't believe how unlucky I've been in my endeavors. Like all of my purchases, I explicitly and thoroughly communicate the terms and conditions for the sale to conclude successfully. Three unserious sellers in a row is baffling.

Here is my average MPG after 4,000 miles with the 6MT. That's with all types of driving; normal, spirited, WOT's, warmup idling, cruising, etc. If it's an accurate number that is to be believed, then I am satisfied with the results, especially for the pleasure factor the transmission induces.

I purchased a decent camera recently, and am still trying to learn how to use it, and what programs I need in order to edit pictures and videos. The camera is a Panasonic Lumix LX10.

LMAO, you got a camera that lets you highlight the car in all lighting and then immediately go shoot it without washing it
Start off with automatic mode, then program mode then start messing with each variable individually. You'll get the hang of it.
Also, if you want to edit after which is a game changer, look into lightroom. It's a lightweight version of photoshop and much easier to use.

The truth is that the roads are salted so much, washing seems futile right now. It needs to rain once or twice, or the car will be covered in salt within a few miles after the wash. Do you have experience with photography and editing photos?

I didn't mean to shit on your first picture posted. Sorry about that.
Okay, if she's filthy, sunset or sunrise or somewhere in shade will be your friend.

Art is so subjective...so I won't claim to be a photographer but I have taken a lot of photos.
Did you think my suggestions came from a google search?!?!

Here's a more recent one

Off the top of your head, can you recommend a high quality source to learn about all the different aspects, including aperture and ISO, so I can learn everything I need to know correctly from the start?

I'll be honest with you, the science behind it turns me off. LOL.
I would say that as low ISO as you can get away with will be the most usable to edit. You'll have to go higher ISO in low light settings but then you get into needing a tripod.
F stop on your lenses are a big deal for the bokeh look most people are after. So a good lens to track down is the nifty 50...50mm with a 1.8 F...so the lowest F to give a shallow
depth of field is usually great for highlighting car shots or a particular part of the car. Aperture and shutter I just mess with to get longer or less exposure depending on low light...
like I said, EASIEST time to get good shots that don't have white balance raping and washout are dusk and dawn.

I'm sure youtube has easy novice videos to give you a run down but my camera nerd buddy's always just suggested I stick with program mode to
kinda guide me...I rarely even shoot in full manual unless it was for low light where i need the control.

Here's one of the first shots I ever took on a DSLR...
look at the tiny focal point that turns a bland picture of a damn snail into ART. LOL. At least to me.
and this was nifty fifty set f stop as low as possible and auto focus on the snail and shoot in program mode.

I read quite a few articles regarding photography. It's one thing to read, and a complete other to do. I wasn't able to figure out using the manual mode, where I manually select the ISO and aperture. I'll have to continue reading and experimenting. I ended up just using the full automatic mode where the camera determines which options are best. I'm really satisfied with the results. @rockstar143, I washed the cars this time, just for you. I used the program called Darkroom to edit my pictures today. If you don't mind, I'd like some tips from you regarding angles and lighting in order to improve, @rockstar143. I'm a newbie that literally pointed the camera and pressed the shutter button.

Darkroom must be the newer version of lightroom, I'm guessing.
Art is subjective but I can tell you that from your first picture to this set, it doesn't even look like the same person took the photos.
Well WELL done, sir.

Keep playing with it...remember there's no real formula...just what looks good to you.
When framing the shot, generally lower shots are great for cars...but sometimes up and angled give good perspective.
Personally I like side, and 3/4 angle front and rear but there are a lot of cool ways to highlight a badge or an aspect of the car itself.
Keep backgrop in mind, and even sometimes moving a foot this way or a foot that way, up or down...you'll feel an emotion when you
have nailed a good angle. Depth is important too...the car is cool in your photos, but the wall behind is as the backdrop is the star of the show...
second photo you posted is my favorite, pay attention to your focal point...see when you half press your shutter button it'll focus and show you what
it's focusing on, keep that in mind. You can set it to pick a spot or an overall section of the frame to focus on. For bokeh style shots...lowest F stop
possible, and single focal point for a super shallow depth of field.

It'll come to you but that's just me running through some years of a experience. Keep up the good work!

Get this...I never perfected it but it's called light painting...this was a tripod...LONGGGG exposure in a dark area...and me walking around
highlighting (painting) whatever I'm trying to highlight in the picture. Key is move fast enough to not end up in the shot...

look here I caught my leg repeating...
and this is facing the flashlight to the camera for a spell
here's a good example of how it should look...

Thank you for the feedback, @rockstar143. I'll keep taking pictures and practicing using the different tools available. I feel like the locations and angles are essentially the same, more or less. I'll have to take a multitude of pictures in each spot until I manage to snap one that is superior to the rest. Here are some old pictures that I have that were taken with my phone:

The quality produced by the camera, in addition to the enhancement from Darkroom, is going to be a game changer for all future pictures from now on. It's really exciting!

It's great encouragement, so thank you. I grew up with VAG cars, so it's difficult to abstain every now and then. Although, I've fallen in love with Acura after actually owning them, and not just admiring from afar. I used to look at a lot of r/carporn and r/motorcycleporn on reddit., which is just top tier vehicle photography, in my opinion. So, I've been using ideas that I saw there in regards to angles and locations.

Do you follow Kyle Fletcher on IG? He just did a paid photoshoot of my Corvette by Forgestar and it came out AMAZING!

I got a sample of the VAG in the form of an S5 in 2014 and it ruined me. VAG for life in some capacity in my stable.

I do not. Is this the person in question? (Link won't work apparently.)

How much should one expect to pay for a professional photoshoot?

This is the biggest concern when it comes to the 6MT: 6th gear. It seems too short for highway use, especially at higher speeds. The high RPM speeds up oil consumption, in my opinion based from personal experience with a previous vehicle.

Here's an update on my overall MPG since owning the 6MT:

I'm too tall for the motorcycle, in all honesty. However, it's extremely light and nimble. It's my favorite motorcycle that I've had yet. This specific aesthetic look seems to move me the most. I believe it is the best looking motorcycle that I have ever seen. I initially wanted one in 2020, when I purchased my 2012 Honda CBR250R. Two years later, I sold the CBR and purchased this Vitpilen. They're also extremely rare here in NE OH, and a lot of drivers/riders stop and ask at traffic lights and gas stations. I don't blame them, as I also do the same when I encounter a vehicle that I instantly fall in love wirth.

Great pics and a very cool bike. There's a local 701 Svartpilen locally that I snap my neck to get a view of when I see it out and about. I had a '15 FZ-07 (with Yoshimura R-77 full exhaust) and then an '07 VFR800 (with a Leovince Evo II Carbon setup), then I had kids. Bye bye bike. Too many close calls from drivers not looking. Really miss the VFR though, it sounded like a small-block Chevy at idle and the VTEC switchover sound was incredible.

I have finally found the fourth rim to my 19" HPT/Advance set. The total that I have paid is $543 OTD for all four rims. Now, I need to source two more center caps, a set of TPMS, and a set of tires. I'll check the dealer on pricing for the TPMS, and if it's acceptable, I'll just buy them new. If not, I'll purchase aftermarket ones from eBay. I've found a couple of sets of tires locally that seem to be adequate in meeting my standards. Whenever I have the wheels ready to be mounted, I'll have some pictures for you guys.

I managed to mount my Advanced/HPT wheels before the flood came to overtake Cleveland. It seems that I need to have an alignment performed, since the winter took a toll on the suspension, and no thanks to hooning during the winter storms at that. The roads are becoming (more) atrocious, again... I'll take some higher quality pictures one of these days, where it'll be a clear forecast.

I have always like those 19" HPT wheels and thought about picking up a set to mount some summer tires. Good diligence in tracking down a full set at a good price.

It doesn't look horrible on the bottom but the winglets that come up short kill the look IMO...
you could probably trim those off and put some sort of door guard on the edge to hide the ragged cuts.
Or leave it alone and enjoy driving it...whichever works
