How to turn off headlight washer when washing windshield
How to turn off headlight washer when washing windshield
I think it applies to only Canadian TLs
I have 2009 - SH-AWD with NO Tech
Everytime I wash the windshield - the headlight washers also go off and wash the headlights twice with about 3 second gap
Does anyone know how to turn off the headlight washers when washing windshield

It's doing that only first time when you wash the windshield and you have the headlights on , not everytime.
I was wondering also if it could be turned off , especially on the freezing days or icy rain when the headlights washers are covered with deep ice. It may broke the mechanism.

You are right - I tried again today and headlight washers only turned on if full headlights are on.

bump. im also wondering the same.
It doenst make sense for it to wash the headlights everytime i spray my windshield when the lights are on.
it's also bad for the wax that's on the car. the alchohol would remove the wax.
You would THINK that there'd be a on off switch where the independant wash button is....
