How to Install High Beam/DRL Bulbs '09-'13 Acura TL
Since I just got my 6000K bulbs (that's what they're labeled...they look more like 4000K, but that's not the point), I thought I'd put together a quick how to.
This is one of the easiest jobs to perform. Two bolts to remove a bracket on the left (passenger) side, and three plastic retainers to remove on the right, and even big hands can reach the high-beam bulbs.
I pasted links to three photos on Flickr below....let's see if they work....

Dang....doesn't look like they worked. I'll keep trying to post.

Once the bracket is removed on the passenger side, just lift the radiator expansion tank out of its slide bracket and set it down on top of the radiator.
On the driver's side, the three plastic clips are for the air intake duct in front of the battery. The center pins lift up on the clips and the clips release. The entire duct can just be lifted out and set aside.
Now there should be easy paths to reach both high beam - daytime running light bulbs with either hand.
Hope this helps.

OK, the lights I chose are totally lame. I swear, I can't tell the difference between hi-beams off and hi-beams on. So as someone else has said, my lights are only good to tell other drivers that I'm pissed off, not for illumination. With that said, given how easy it is to swap bulbs out now I'll try a few more and take some shots. Not worth the effort for these.
What light color did you go with?
I had these in my BMW and they are sick.

No you cant use those for DRL's....the link is for 6700k D2s high beams.
If you wanna replace your high beams use the bulbs to the link I posted.

As a point of reference, I have 6k LED bulbs from V-LEDS and am very happy with the color and overall quality. That said, light output is dramatically reduced which you will find true for the majority of LEDs out there serving in this role as DRL.
No need to remove the two bolts for the radiator bracket. I just changed over to Sylvania Silverstar Ultras for my High Beams and I just lifted the expansion tank out without taking the bracket off. Very convenient.
Took me about 10 minutes to get the whole job done.
The Silverstars were immediately brighter and had a better beam pattern than my no-name aftermarket bulbs. The aftermarket bulbs actually were branded "Halo" and had a lot of Japanese writing on the box....they were selected because Amazon quoted "100w bulbs" but when they arrived, only the box said 100W...the bulbs actually said 65W and put out what looked like 25W.
The Silverstars are noticeably more yellow than the stock HID low beams, but they put out good light in a good pattern. I'll take some shots in the next couple of days.
