High beam projector

Has anyone successfully installed a high beam/drl projector with a nice set of hids or led bulbs?

I installed the leds in my high beams about a month and a half ago. I'm actually selling mine if you are interested.

I also have h/b leds but I am not a fan of the cut off from the reflector lens. That's why I'm searching around for ideas how to install a projector.

I don't have a TL (yet), but the forums over at HIDplanet have tons and TONS of info if you're willing to look through it. I'm have retrofitted my current car with TRS/Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 projectors in the low beams.

Cool. Thanks Ohio, I'll take a look at that forum. I am willing to do the work as long as I am sure that at the end the headlights will have an oem look.

i tried.. its too small of an area to put a projector inside.. you cant put a shroud around it and you are not able to put the lens back on.. your highbeam projector will stick out way to much.

only way to do it is the cut the back open meaning you cut a big hole to mount the projector further back.. also you will have to cut alot off a shroud to make it fit.

Thanks for this info. Cutting the housing is definitely something I don't want to do so I'm not even going to try.

you will have fitment issues with your headlights later once you try to install them. Your headlight highbeam area sits right infront of your coolant reservoir and radiator, very limited space.
