Have any of you guys had issues with the HID burning the fog lens? I'm just worried about that.

I have been using Maxlux 35w HIDs in my Fog lights since last fall. They are 4300K and have a very wide angle light. So far, no issues.

I dont think they get too hot. Not more than your Halogen bulbs. So far, I do not see any issue with the Fog light lens or the cover. Lets hope it stays that way.

Here is the link to my post and some pictures:

Newbie question - Where do I find the "DIY Sticky" that is occasionally referred to in posts?

Nope.
I can't seem to be able to insert an image (screenshot/SnipIt) of what I see. I'll try looking for stickies at the top of the page when I get home (newer browser).

How about for the DRL/Highbeam? I'm planning to get a Morimoto kit for them as well. I'll need the canbus right?

Had a hid kit installed in my fogs for a couple months before I decided to switch to Morimoto led type S fogs. The problem with the hid kit was they were too bright and I had oncoming drivers flashing their high beams at me a handful of times, maybe I needed to aim my fogs very low to the ground. No melting issues just that they were too bright to use with a reflector set up. Right now I am glad I got the LED fogs, they have a nice cut off, more efficient, longer life, natural 5k color and more important no more blinding people.
