Having a hard time with bulb

So I have a 2013 acura tl shawd tec pak I want to change out the daytime running lights the ones up top of the bumper next to the hids that also serve as a high beam when I need to use them going down a dark road. I call the dealership they tell me its a hb3 which is a stock 9005 bulb right? So I call xenon to order a set of there leds (9005) check the bulb and it says high beam I'm confused shouldn't it be a duel led with high and low beam? Someone help me.... if I put this led in the car will know theres a bulb thereand light up the bulb and when I go to click the high beams on the cars electronics will make the led brighter? I know about warning cancellators so I wont get an error on the dash can anyone point me in the right direction on this 4th gen please.

My car has a 9005/HB3 filament bulb working as my drl at half power and high beam at full power. What's a good replacement for this? Led or HID?

Previously I have used this bulbs
https://www.amazon.com/9005-Headlight-Bulb-6500K-All/dp/B01G8F8PIO/ref=sr_1_19?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1502233963&sr=1-19&keywords=9005+led+headlight+bulbs https://www.amazon.com/9005-Headlight-Bulb-6500K-All/dp/B01G8F8PIO/ref=sr_1_19?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1502233963&sr=1-19&keywords=9005+led+headlight+bulbs
and they are dimmer while on DRL mode and at full brightness on high beam. LED is the way to go, look at all the newer vehicles.

LEDs don't work well on half voltage though...

If the money is not a problem a you want the best go with VLEDS, Morimoto or Oznium. If in a budget get jdm astar or another from amazon that carry a decent warranty.

DRL LED question is asked a lot and there are numerous posts. The following is pretty recent:

https://acurazine.com/forums/fourth-...-highs-957805/

I went LED on DRL and FOGS this spring. I have used the Whitest Halogens and they are not as white as LEDs.

Summary:

1. Try to get a weave heat sink. There are no moving parts to breakdown.
2. Have a 7.5 fuse just in case there is a problem with the DRL not working later. NOTE: If you have the parking brake on, the DRL will be off when you start the car.
3. LEDs are the way to go. The technology has changed a lot in the last 3-5 years. They are much now much brighter than the halogens. Don't buy cheap ones, you pay for what you get.
4. DRL in low and high beam is still pretty bright compared to halogens.
5. www.vleds.com's 9005 with weave heat sink appears to not be sold anymore. (CM DEAL post)

There is a simple, high quality solution to the nasty yellow DRL issue. Check my post on bulb upgrades. I give the link to VLEDS and the bulbs with photos in day/night. They work flawlessly!
