Hi...I am new here and can't find much on the search bar about grill modifications. I would like to remove or repaint the top silver bar (A logo?) across the grill on my 2012 TL. Can this bar be removed and left off or is repaint a viable option .Thanks for your help.
Yes. If you're referring to part 9 below. You can remove it. However, it's not super easy to get the grille assembly off. There are screws holding the grille on which are only accessible from behind the bumper. I had to remove the entire bumper to access it.
