Is this a good deal?

Hope this works. Does this sound like a good deal? I checked kbb and price looks around $27,000. Car is fully loaded with advanced package and body kit. Should I be too concerned with miles? I know there will more and more people trading in their cars in a few weeks when the TLX is at the dealership. So I'm not in too big of a hurry.

I suggest you wait it out. There will be better deals than this one.

$33,500 with 25K miles (before haggling):

Look around and you'll find something equivalent for less.

I paid 33.6k for my 2013 TL Tech with 19.5k miles. It was also acura certified and a 6MT.

I think you can do a little better. Brand new 2014s are going for low $37's. I'd want more than $7K off of a 2 year old car with 50% more miles than average.

I got quoted $37K from all dealerships aroud my area for the SH-AWD. Wait a little longer and this will drop to $35K easily.

as soon as the tlx is officially out they will be firesaled. You'd want to move quick by then though.

Thanks everyone! I think I can hold out another month. Definitely want SH-awd, particularly in White. Tech or advanced package.

Best deals in March??

A friend of mine told me that because Acura is a Japanese company that they typically try to maximize their sales before corporate year-end, which is the end of March in Japan. This should make them more likely to squeeze their prices a bit to get those final sales into their numbers before March 31 (for bonus, etc.).

I know that doesn't help right now but for buyers of new vehicles, but it's a thought for those who may be willing to wait and leverage on this.

makes sense. I was looking for a 6MT TL for several months... finally found one I liked and at a reasonable price - Purchased March 30, 2014.

Given that inventory on SH-AWD's is basically going to be non-existent, with the exception of those that really want to get rid of theirs, I'd personally pull the trigger.

I paid $30k OTD for a used SH-AWD CBP/Umber back in December, and that had 53k on the odometer. Remember... TL's last forever if you keep them up, so the opportunity cost of pulling the trigger now can well be worth it versus someone else snatching it up.

Bottom line: you're basically buying the car at Blue Book value at $30k with that mileage. I'd consider that a good deal.

If you want to take a flight out to San Diego or have them deliver this TL it's a pretty good price for the amount of miles on it, and it's 6MT.
