AND I can't wait to photos of the Basque Red... I don't think we've seen that here yet.

For the OP, unless you're getting SH AWD Tech 6MT....keep the TL-S.
That's only because of traction issues. The TL-S is faster than the 4th gen due to weight mostly.

If I were you I'd just get the base TL.

Tech is nice but i mean, do you really need it? a Garmin will give you all the maps you need. 99% of folks just drive to home, school, work, and back to home. Myself included. When I go on trips, I whip out the Garmin that I hid in the trunk.

No offense to anyone who owns a 3G, but I think a 4th gen LOOKs so much better. I'd rather have a base 4G than a 3G Type-S.

Now, if you are buying the car I'd advise you to get the tech, but you are leasing it, it won't even be yours when the lease is up. So why spend the extra money..

The 3G and 4G just look like radically different cars. Almost seems like they should have renamed the 4G a "GL" or something. The 3G is lean, slammed, sporty while the 4G is beefier, larger (hence more luxury) while still keeping the sport motif going on.

That's pretty much what they did with the TSX. IMHO. If the TSX has the v6 and 6-speed I would have strongly considered it. Although now having the SHAWD, I would never go back to FWD.

Didn't make any sense to me to pay $3-4K(Tech package) more for a GPS unit...

Instead I paid $3K to get the 18in OEM and keep the 17in OEM for winter...rust and paint protection...tint...rear lip spolier...winter all season mats interior and truck...3M hood protection...2 oil changes...

and for free 2 acura coffee mugs and Hats...Acura keychain that lights up...and a bunch of stickers for my three old

I think I got a deal? i hope?

Way more than just a GPS unit.

You get:
GPS-linked Temperature Control
Voice Recognition
Keyless Start System
Rearview Camera
Acura/ELS Surround Sound System - Rated the best on the market

Hell, I thought it was worth it just for the key-less entry/start system.

But it's does add quite a bit more to the price, not worth it to everyone.

Just bells and whistles to me...plus they gave me $5K off MSRP for the base but than and I gave them $3K back in the additional stuff I got.

It tracks the and links your cars position with where the sun is angled and shining in your car to offset the theoretically palpable uneven heating that would take place. IMO, total nonsense. Not dogging the tech package, just that feature. I even think that dual auto climate is worthless. Not until a glass divider comes down between me and the passenger will this feature be usable.

when im driving with someone and they get all cute and set there side much different, I take my hand and swoosh it around and say how the currents from my hands made a devastating disruption to their "separate" air bubble/cocoon.

Yea, Totally agree... I was very suspect of that addition when i read about it. Who knows if it actually works...
