Hey guys
i need to do my front brakes. im thinking of maybe upgrading. however i cannot find much out there. i did find Powerstop kit see link at bottom. and a kit from EBC but only pads and rotors. what do you guys recommend? or should i just stick with OEM rotors and pads? I do
not do any track driving, however i am a spirited drivers and do get aggressive on the brakes.

Thanks for reply. i just seen it. so whenever you do brakes. you always want to so either turn the rotors or install new ones with new pads. the old pads will create their own grooves in the old rotors. and if you just run new pads on old rotor they wont work as they should.

man if EBC red had more bite than stock, I'd be very surprised.

For this car, I doubt you can find any non-race pad with more agressive bite/friction than those Bendix I suggested. Take the $40 gamble and try them out.
The pedal will feel slightly squishy until you bed them in/flatten them out.
After that? COT damn boy, its like throwing a stick in the spokes. You'll have to re-adjust your brain on how much pedal pressure to apply.
Its not really as complicated as one may think. An agressive semi-metallic pad will stop TF out of the car with minimal pedal pressure. And they're cheap asf.

They also won't last at all, as they're meant to ride on the transfer layer...not the rotor. Hence the constant need to bed them in if you're using them on the street.
You would need to bed them in every like couple of days of use by doing massively illegal shit to accomplish it.
They're like $350-400ish for the set, and they're not street pads.

The XP10's can be noisy! You are right they are a track-oriented pad, but once you want something more aggressive the slope is very slippery.
I'll certainly have to try them out! I've been using the yellows for quite a bit, tried the red's on my 3G TL and knew that I wanted better stopping power on the 4G. On the 3G TL the red are plenty strong. I believe green's are the OEM equivalent pads.

But...they don't

IDK if you ever tried 309's before... the Bendix make more street-temp friction than 309. But they also make piles of dust.
The closest thing I can liken the Bendix to is Hawk HP+ Autocross pads.
