Found some decent pedals
Found some decent custom stainless steel pedals on eBay. Seem to be the same as a sponsor here, without the Acura logo. Really sets the car off as the oem pedals are cheap. The oem in my 06tsx were better. Will post pictures when I am home.
I installed them. Make Sure you have some very good drill bits and you will have to unhitch the gas pedal from the bottom. Your foot stays very planted on the pedals. The nice part is, they custom fit the stock peals and look OEM. Because of my dull drill bits it took me a couple of hours to install them. Get you a good hole punch too. I started drilling with a small bit first then worked to the one I needed to drill the hole out for the screws. The Brake is the hardest. Take your time with that one. There are some holes already in the brake pedal, that you can use to line the new pedals with. Pics coming soon, after I upload from my Iphone. Toilet Job for now.
NICE. Yup, those are the ones I bought too.

No I did not use those instructions. I had similar pedals installed on my TSX, so I did not need any instructions. The ones posted are good though. No instructions come with the pedals. These were the best I could find without spending $200. I am very happy with them.

My last 3 cars all got Ultimatepedals, the shiny smooth without inserts. Rubber soles just glide over them. They even have a heel toe extension.
When you call you can hear the machines in the background, high quality for a very reasonable price.
If you good with the masking tape, pencil, and drill these are the ones to get IMHO.

I have a Dead Pedal from Ultimate Pedals. Very happy with the quality of their products. Plus, they are excellent to work with. I called them and they were happy to personally work with me.
Remove the black plate that is in front of the pedal .Then you pull the pedal from the bottom. I believe I pulled forward on the bottom of the pedal. It snaps back into place. The top will still be attached, but you can do what you need with the bottom of the pedal off.

Are you talking about the ring of plastic around the base of the pedal? The two "U" shaped pieces that run around the front and back of the base of the pedal?
How should I remove the plate? Does it just snap off?

To answer your question, yes the base plate that you pointed out to, all you need is a flat head to take it off.

Here's a post I put up a couple years ago when I did it. Talks about things in more detail

The gas pedal is all plastic, there is no metal. The only pedal that is medal is the brake. Get a brand new drill bit. It can be a bear. I drilled a small pilot hole first then drilled it out with the larger bit. I believe once you remove that front piece you pull the the bottom forward on the accelerator pedal
