Any fellow Canadian from Vancouver received the pedals?
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MINES YET!!!!
I received the shipping confirmation on Sept 1st and am still waiting to see the pedals!!! What's up with this!! Took 20 days for a package to be shipped from the States to Canada!! f@#$# I should have signed up for a one month European boat cruise and the package should be here when I'm back from the cruise. This is ridiculous.
Just wanna vent! Thanks for reading it guys.

Thanks for checking. I don't think the local post office can do anything to find out what is happening to my package, unless the package has a Canada Post tracking #.
Guess I have to be MORE patient.
Thanks for sharing the feeling Calvin_m19. At least I know I'm not alone LoL
Sorry Guys I wish I could help But I cant run a trace just yet with the USPS. They say I have to give it up to 21 days. Really stinks I know we pay big money for USPS Priority Global Mail. Not sure how they get away with it. I think its customs.
I will try to find out again on Monday.
I will try to find out again on Monday.
Guys I am going to run a trace for all of you in Canada on Monday if you have not gotten your pedals. PM me your paypal e-mail address so I can cross reference and pull all your information.
I installed my pedals today on an 07 RL with Ebony interior. Looks good.
Installation was easy, but it didn't take 30 minutes like some mentioned. Quite frankly I didn't think that was realistic anyway. Having never done it before there was some thinking involved and some experimenting. In the end it took about 3 hours start to finish. I admit I paused a few times to cool off inside, etc. Also, I wasn't rushing to beat any deadlines. Regardless, I'd plan to allow for a couple to 3 hours for the job. Doing it a second time, I'd suspect it would take about an hour.
The RL dead pedal isn't the same as the TL so I'm pretty sure I'm going to just leave it off. Here are some photos of the three pedals without the dead pedal installed. Also, here are some tips/advice based on my experience today;
1) The brake pedal holes line up real well with the two horizontal creases in the metal brake pedal frame. Go right for those crease as the guide for where to apply the holes.
2) I drilled 5/64" pilot holes first using the pedals themselves as templates. Then followed up with 5/32" final holes.
3) The E-brake medal pedal frame is VERY small (at least on the RL). You must spend some time planning and being sure to drill the holes exactly. There's really no slack to move left right up down. There's literally ONE spot with less then 1/8 inch of tollerance for drilling the holes, otherwise it won't work. Take your time on that pedal
4) The Throttle was a pain in the ass for me. I could not get the bottom hinge to disengage. I messed with it for 15 minutes but it wouldn't come off. You really need to de-hinge the bottom to have any chance of getting those bottom bolts on. There is a small flap in the back on the bottom that you must squeeze. With that being pressed you must lift in a up motion. It won't come right up. You need to give it a bit more force then you'll probably feel comfortable with (especially since the hinge is plastic). Don't be afraid to give it a good tug, but, you should not need any mechanical force. DON"T try to pry it with a wedge or screw driver. The clips are only plastic and it will break. Also, if you need that much force then something is wrong. In the end, I realized I wasn't squeezing on that clip enough and that was preventing it from disengaging. Squeeze it good and then pull up and towards you.

The ebrake doesn't look too bad in person. Don't forget, the flash from the camera is making the pedals jump out more then they really do in person. I't also making the plastic dead pedal stand out more. In real life, the black pedal blends in with the black carpet and you really don't see it.
Here's a picture of the Dead Pedal leaning against the existing pedal. I really don't think I like it. I could cut the plastic pedal to conform to the size of the alluminum pedal. The carpet extends well underneath the plastic so the idea theoretically would work. Not sure how it would look and at that point it would be the point of no return. Screwing the aluminum pedal right to the frame isn't much of an option because its not a solid backing to rest against. The rubber nobs would push back into the cavity.

Great Pics Nice Job!
Great Pics Nice Job!
if you ever decide to fab a dead pedal for the RL let me know. I'll add it. However, I think it looks fine without it for my car because of the black interior. The current pedal blends with the carpet and does not look out of place. Had I had a light interior, I think it would have looked odd and I would have been forced to come up with a solution.
Just an FYI, the post office is slacking off big time lately...I thought it was just me as my mailman and local branch provide horrible service. SC shipped my pedals on the 14th, but they didn't arrive until the 20th...six days to go half way up the east coast (FL > NC)...they never got past "the shipper has notified us to expect the package" on the tracking page. Be patient, the post office is taking its time (and then some).
By the way, installed my pedals this past weekend...they look awesome!!

As I'm still waiting for my set to come, Day #28, I think it will be nice for you to keep a set of 06 TL/AT IN CASE if my set never comes. I can at least claim it on my credit card insurance for a replacement set.
Hope I will receive mines sooon.
Peace.
Mamamilk I am a step ahead of you I already did that. I also was able to run a trace with the PO on Friday I should know something soon.
PS I will most likley send out your replacement set this week and we can figure out what happen to the original set.

Nice to know you are one step ahead, I did not think about it until I read your post. Please let me know if you decided to send me another set.
I envy those who had received the pedals!! I want to see them.
The package has not arrived yet. Still waiting to see the NICE pedals, day #32.
Peace.

Hi Super, is there anything happening on your side? Did you send another set out? I have not received a tracking # from you yet.

I PM'ed my contact # to you. Are you going to call me? Did you start a tracking on the package as per USPS advised?
I am starting to get upset... I've been waiting to see the pedals since I paid on July 20th 2007.... It's been 38 days since I received the shipping notificaton from you, on Sept 1st 2007.
Everytime I enter the label the # on the USPS site, it shows the following very same message, I checked again just now:
Label/Receipt Number: CJ15 4747 315U S
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on September 1, 2007 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item.
I checked with the Canadian Custom, they said the package has not entered the Canadian Custom at all, as they do not have the record of the package entering the border on the system.
I then checked with the USPS, they said they cannot find the package. Indeed, it could be the case that the package HAS NOT been sent out yet, because the label # is just a electronic shipping notification #. If it has been shipped, then the sender has to open a tracking request to find out what is going on w/ the package....... And their record shows that you have not initiated any tracking request.
I've done what I could do to find out what is going on with the package, but it seems like the package does not even exsist...
Has everybody from Canada received their pedals already?
I NEED SOME HELP HERE PLEASE, Supercom!!

I let you know a trace was started, The process can take up to 60 days to locate. I let you know I would send another set out, It will ship by tomorrow. With the USPS there is not much you can do when something is lost the process takes a bit a time. I will send you another set out.
Stay tuned for more tracking info.
Thanks
Dave

Thanks for the update, guess I'll have to be patient again... Will wait to hear from you.
You know how bad it feels to wait this long to receive the pedals!? It's like everyday I hop in the car, I could hear a voice telling me ... "please put the pedals on to complete the look! It will look 100 times better once the pedals are on... pedals ..... pedals (echo)......"
Lucky thing is my girlfriend has not complained, YET, that I asked for the package first thing I come home from work everyday.
Good suggestion SpicyMikey. I will let Supercom make the call.
Peace.

You'll have it in two days guaranteed. The post office is cheaper but they're a bunch of clowns. Obviously it's beyond the USPS to ship to Canada reliably.
e-brake pedal
How about my e-brake pedal w/ logo??
