My 2011 TL SH-AWD does 135 Mph - Sure if the car wasn't governed you could easy go 150 - 155 - The stability of the car would allow you to go faster than that without a problem. Unfortunately no mapping software or serious mods are available. A shame for this nice platform to be neutered.
I believe the auto TL SH-AWD are governed to 130ish and the 6MT are limited to 155
In Europe the RL SH-AWD (obviously auto) and labelled as Honda Legend, was electronically governed to 155.
On a purely aerodynamic/size vs. engine power the TL 3.7 305 HP could probably hit 165-170 ungoverned (meaning drag limited).
The European TSX 2.4 auto 201 HP (the Euro Accord) was drag limited to ~142

In 1990 I owned a Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo, living in Europe and for business purpose I needed to drive from Brussels to Vienna almost every month, on the German Autobahn the 300 ZX hit 175 Mph. I'm pretty sure in case the TL SH-AWD wouldn't be governed this would be close.
Sorry for the typo Year was 1990
2010 SH-AWD 6MT. Did 125 about 3 weeks ago easily, then on my way home from Vegas this past Monday I did 135 with my wife in the car (she took it pretty well). At 135 it felt like it did not have much left (although there was a head wind). Both times I was on a long flat stretch of road with no one else in sight (visibility was miles). Both speeds were verified by my GPS radar detector.
Either the troopers on 287 are asleep or just don't want to bother with extra paperwork right before shift change ( 6am ).
Just so you know, they are out there in the median hiding in the shrubs. I know because I work with them. ( im not a cop but, I work with them on the legal side of things )
Just be careful because at those speeds. Your definitely going for a ride in the backseat if caught.

I hit 120 last week on my Sh AT, 2am and it was a super long empty road, felt like it could go more but just decided to slow down. It was down hill as well and the numbers got high pretty quickly.
Still trying to figure this out. I have a 2012 TL base. I cannot for the life of me get it above 120mph. Whether I am in regular old "D", Sport mode, or Sport 6th. Car cuts off at 3100 rpm. Is this limited to FWD models only or just the "base package"? Gets irritating as even my old 4 banger saabs and subarus would do 140+...
Wow. I would never even THINK about driving even over 100 MPH on any highway around here. Years ago I was driving around 90-100 MPH on the PA turnpike in my 04 TL. It was late, around 1 AM. All of the sudden a deer decides to stroll out into my path. I nearly flipped my car trying to avoid it (which I did narrowly). At that speed if I didn't avoid the deer he would probably have slid right up my hood and killed me.
If I was going 135 or so I would have probably been dead.
I'm with the guy who said to take the car to the track. It may be a "rush" to drive the car at 135 MPH, but why do it in a place where its dangerous to yourself and others who are unfortunate enough to be in your path ?
It's beyond stupid.

2010 tl sh-awd .....115mph on Soto st in east L.A against a 2000 to 2004 bmw m3... man Ive never felt so much adrenaline but wow was I stupid to do it...at one point we went over a hill with no visibility flying over it. I felt like the car caught some air as we flew by. after I did it i told my self never again I could have killed myself or someone else with their being zero time to react if a car was over the hill.
