J37 is a thin-walled Open Deck that works almost at the limit of its power in stock, any kind of tune will lead to a quick reduction in resource, so J37 is not about race.
Fastest NA J37 belongs to Chony1703 from SMP Performance who's making 378 WHP on his third gen TL with a J37 swap. Fastest 4G J37 NA I believe is Prince Boodoo with around 340WHP and a 12.8 1/4 time. (If there's someone faster NA please correct me)
I'm sure there's a bunch of boosted J37's that are even faster but I don't know who they would be.

you can only really boost them with the gerzy bear procharger can’t you? And I’m trying to find the fastest j37 even if it’s boosted, I want to see where mine could be one day. Ik gerzy bear is in the process of making a dual plenum so we can have 2 air intakes and I’ve heard ppl say we’ll be able to smoke vq’s.

Hypothetically if I had the money for a forged block, heads, etc. could I not then push the power up really high. I know people sell like 800-1200 hp piston heads and rods, it would be nice to be able to put that power down in a 4g one day.
J37 is definitely weaker than the J35 variants but they can still hold decent power stock, dunno what that other guy is talking about. P2R's 4G drag car is a good example if you wanna look into that. And yeah the gerzybear supercharger is the tried and true method, although custom turbo kits can be made for sure, just needs a lot more time to plan everything

I think a good and cheap option for would be to get rid of the propeller shaft and instead put an 100 lb⋅ft electric motor.

i follow p2r on most of their 4g stuff, some of the best out there for the 4gs in my opinion, there’s not much out there lol

what does ICE mean? So you’d have an electric motor under the car? And how much power can a 100lb motor put out. The 3.7 would be putting all 305 hp to the front?

With additional electric traction, the line marked with arrows will be at level 295fl-lb. and this is like on TLX Type-S.
The front wheels will have all 225hp. (305hp. is before transmission)

the 225 is the stock whp for the 3.7? Also say I pumped the hp up to like 400whp would the electric motor even be strong enough to add any more power or would it almost make the car slower because it can’t spin nearly as fast as the front wheels? Also kinda unrelated but I found a user on Instagram that is making 501awhp on the 4g it says on his dyno. User is shawdytl pretty clean

he says he’s going to have some pulls up soon. Assuming it is legit it will be pretty cool to see one with that much power. Idk what he did to it though even with the procharger, ported parts, bigger intake and exhaust and upgraded fuel line I’ve never seen anything go much further than like 400awhp
