Has anybody had any problems with there LED DRL or Switchbacks. I've read some articles of hot wires and melting and some with no problems. Just looking for advice? And were to purchase these. Thanks

That's where I got mine, have mine on for about three wks no issues at all
I have seen hd wire harness u can buy I think for about $10 if u were that concern on oem wires being burnt.

 

Testing out a module for the 09-12 TL today with full 12V power DRL LED. Will give you the out come later today.

 

Could you refresh my memory a lil bit? V-Leds is coming out with this module?

 

Sorry, I stop by my friend's shop yesterday and they were busy with bunch of customer car so he didnt have a chance to test out the new DRL harness.

As for as V LED. I'm not too sure about the revised DRL Harness for the 09-12 TL But I know V LED did come out a set of DRL Harness for the 07-08 TL and then they took it out from there site.

My friend tested out the DRL Harness on my car a month ago but the module was too hot so they had to revised the module to make it not too hot. So that is why they came out a new version of the DRL Harness for the 09-12 and waiting for me to test it out. But they were too busy last night so didnt have a chance. I will stop by after work today if they are not busy and keep you posted.

 

Installed the ijdm kit tonight, very easy and the lights look great. There is a hole in the chassis just under each headlight that the Decoder's can drop right into. Will they get hot? Sure that's what they do, will it matter? They can't cause any damage as they are isolated in the holes. I'll report if I ever have an issue but all is good. BTW added the blue LED license plate lights too, they're sweeeeeet!

 

Where did u get your LEDs from and which lights did u replace..... Like swithbacks, fogs, DRL etc
