Notice the underside of the drip egde along the front windshield has this rubber moulding that is cracked and has broken off and when I drive the moulding just flails in the wind making a noise. Does anyone if all I need to do is change the drip edge or do I need to change the drip edge AND/OR the moulding around the front windshield as well - if that moulding is part of the windshield.

The molding is not part of the windshield. The rubber piece is sold with the chrome trim.

It seems as if most people cut the flailing piece and tuck it underneath the chrome trim and use some sort of adhesive. In case you wish to change it out, here is a great post that details what you need and how to do it: https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-p...cement-980966/
