Will the TL put the windows up with the remote or Key? Like it does when you put them down by holding the unlock button on the remote/key fob.

Not that I know of. I think the lawyers prevent that feature. I heard there was an after market kit for the 3G, not sure if it could be used or modified for the 4G. If you use the key in the lock and turn to lock and hold it, it will roll the windows up and close the sun roof, same as in the 3G.

With Key , yes . Hold the key on close position for 3-5 sec and is rolling up the windows and is closing the sunroof also. Not with the remote though..

 

I am guessing that this is without a mod. I will give it a try in the morning.

With the remote, if you double tap and hold on the second press, it rolls the windows and sunroof open with "unlock" or close with "lock." If you let go before it finishes opening/closing, it will stop.

 

really I was trying it and it didnt work let me try specifically double tap holding second tap again

 

Double tap "lock" and hold will not close the windows or moon roof.

However, double tap "open" and hold will open all.

 

The windows and sunroof can only be closed by using the actual key . This means you have to take the key out from the fob and insert it into the driver or passenger side door. Then turn the key twice in the lock direction and hold it there the second time to close everything.

You can't use the remote to close it all. That requires the 3rd party module in the other thread above.

 

i was looking at a TL and there is no lock in the key lock in the door, so how does it work?

 

there is a lock for the key in the driver's door handle

 

Windows do roll up when they are down if you lock the car they automatically roll up. They did not do this when driver window switch wwas going bad them broke, i replaced it with a new one and now wondows go up when the car is locked.
