Which headlights?
HIDs or DRL/HiBeam?

All sizes follow a standard ( e.g. H11 defines size and wattage).

Or check your manual!

Thats a pretty good comparison...

i was confused at first because the angle that the picture is taken at makes the 4100k look like is lines up with yellow...

I was a bit confused too at first. I thought the yellow light was 4100K.

Now looking at these lights, I dont think I will go pass 5000K in my car. But that is just me.

Do the HIDs dim over time?

I got my 2009TL as a CPO back in August with 42K miles on it and though the output seemed dimmer than the HIDs in the 2005 S2000 that I traded in. The S2000 also had around 42K miles on it, but mostly daytime driving without the lights on.

I figured it was just my imagination. Then the other day I was given a 2012 TSX as a loaner and the HIDs were substantially brighter than those in my TL.

They indeed do, and they also change color slightly.
Define brighter: color != brightness.

The bluer, the less light output, so don't get confused with that.

By brighter, I mean intensity. The color seems about the same, and in the garage the sharp cut-off pattern seems about the same, but the amount of visible light seems to be less.

For example, when I drove down my street with the S2000 and the TSX I could clearly see the beam cut off on the neighbors houses, and on the electrical box at the end of the street. It was a super intense light/no-light split.

With the TL I still see the sharp cut-off on the sides, but the light portion of the cut off is much less intense and I have to struggle to see the cut off on the electrical box until I am much closer.

The lens is different on the TL, than it is with the TSX. That's why some people do a lens-swap.
