Dash camera
What's the best dash camera and the best way to hide wires if it's wired. The dash camera is preferred not to have a wire but if it must, I don't want it to just hang out, and about. Any help is appreciated.

I have installed a Vantrue N2...
I have been to lazy to install the rear camera yet.
I used this adapter to intercept power from the rearvew mirror (AutoDim feature), so I have my camera mounted very high on the passenger side of the windshield facing forward...
So far, I am very happy with the set-up and quality..

Can you re-post links? They appear to be broken. I heard you can use that intercept power for Radar Detectors so I am curious on what you got. Makes the setup super easy and clean.

This is my first car with an auto dimming mirror. I prefer manual. When I'm driving at night, with light traffic, I'm generally exceeding the speed limit. The problem with a dimmed mirror is that it makes it very difficult to see if there's a light bar (unlit) on any cars gaining on me. I'd like to have a switch to defeat the auto dimming when I want to. Does something like that exist that could cut power to the mirror?

Unfortunately, the last update was in 2020. The host was based in T.O so all the vid captures were on Toronto streets. In some of the videos, he even reviews the best SD cards.
