This is, just like, my opinion man, but after seeing your posts over the years, you might want to tone down the demanding attitude and try being more respectful. You shouldn't really act entitled at a big store let alone some dude doing stuff over instagram. No one owes you shit.

I got mine delivered a couple of weeks ago and just got around to installing it today. As you can see, the workmanship is shoddy, but I'm not going to spend this much money on something and then leave it sitting around.

I still have to get it painted, but I am not please to say the least.

At the end of it all I think this came up to about $1500 USD. The problem was I am in Canada, and these guys are in New York. So I noticed their work on Instagram and sent them a message. We worked out the details and they agreed to send me a finished product. I learned the hard way that their work is beyond garbage quality. The jagged edges on the grille looks like the work of a preschool child. This is not professionally done at all.

I have been in contact with them of late, but it's basically just a bunch of excuses. They blame the shipping company for damaging the grille, but they were the ones who packaged it WITHOUT bubble wrap. They sent it in a box that BARELY fit the entire grille (so there was no room for error). They outlined the cuts on the grille as if it was a last minute school project. And now I'm left with having to get the dressing painted, and hopefully having the guys who paint it for me clean up with hack job. They've done some body work on my TL before and did amazing work, so I'm hoping they can assist me with this too, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

 

Well This will spread here like wildfire . Even if they aren't responsive, Trust me...I will tell everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.
And customer service is paramount. I mean, packaging could not possibly have create those unrefined edges....Hell to the no.

It is what it is at this point. My main concern now is trying to hide those imperfections the best way I can.

I would see what your body shop can do. That chrome trim probably needs to be replaced since they scuffed it up. The gaps, you can try using rubber weather stripping or you can cut some abs sheets and create your own border around it. Use some card board or poster board to get the exact shape and length first. Then transfer those pieces to black abs. Get some CA glue and CA glue accelerator piece it together. Use some black epoxy to strength the connecting spots. Now sand it to make it look seamless.

 

Just shy of $1900 CAD for that crap, I'm absolutely floored.
