Credible 5G TL Rumours Anyone?

Shanghai Auto Show 20 Apr
We might see a glimpse of Acura's intention for the TLX at the Shanghai auto show where it looks like, in addition to two SUV like concepts, we will see near production versions of that Concept C car that has been mentioned as a possible TLX.
"....Aside from the two new concepts, Honda also plans to display near-productions versions of the Concept C “middle-class sedan” and the Concept S MPV, both of which debuted at last year’s Beijing Motor Show. ..."

Hasn't Honda always said that the production version of the Concept C would never be an Acura - it was always intended to be a Honda for the Chinese market. It was even designed overseas and not in the US like other Acuras. At least that's what I remember reading.

Possibly... I'm not saying this would be the TLX, but it might give us an indication. They manufacture the current TSX in China for local consumption. So there may be parallels with the new car and the TLX. The worse thing would be that I like the Concept C and they DON'T bring it to the US!

Well it doesn't appear that the C-Concept car, now called the C-rider, has anything to do with the TLX. At least lets hope not. I think it is fugly. It does look like it has the Accord Touring LED headlights. Let's hope Acura takes a look at this car and tries hard to make the TLX look nothing like it.

Here are some more pictures of the C-Rider. Better pictures but still I'm not feeling it at all.
Thankfully... "It is a new China-only mid-size sedan that will be positioned under the Honda Accord. It will be made in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture that also makes the Accord. Honda is considering export from China to other Asian countries but plans are not finalized yet. "
so I think it is not (hopefully) indicative of the TLX. Maybe it is a little bigger than a Civic and based on the Civic platform. It does look like it is well outfitted with LED headlights, backup sensors..... maybe this is the Chinese ILX?

I think it is the proportions on such a small car that make it look ugly, not to mention the picture angles and I suspect a wide angle lens was used to further distort the actual proportions. I don't particularly care for the car as is, but I prefer this styling direction over the RLX. If you take this car and make it bigger, fix the distortions from the wide angle lens I actually this is is not bad. The lower front fascia is the same direction Audi is headed with the next A4.

Here's an interesting possibility. The NSX design language has filtered down into an SUV concept:

If it can find its way in there, why not the next TL?
