i am looking for an installer on long island who wont charge a million dollars to install the clear bra.. i can get the product but never put it on at all.. does anyone know of someone in the area that can help a 4th gen get the front bumper done.

well i don't know about long island, but i paid $600 to get the whole front done ( hood, bumper, grill, head lights, fog lights, blinkers, fenders, mirrors, door cups, door edges, trunk lip) that included the material.

well got the bra done from percision tinting on long island very good at what they do...
and they take there time looks good so far..

which i knew one there. but it does look nice.. on the front lower part is cut it is not one piece.. but u really can not see it..

 

mine is like that too. They use pattern that the clear bra maker put out, its cut on a machine per the layout. it's pretty neat, the place i had mine done showed me the whole process.

 

i have the same thing what do u thing of it...

 

i didn't even notice it until i washed my car last weekend. As long as it protects my car and i can't notice it unless i really look for it, i don't mind.

 

how do we clean it and keep it shinny any ideas...

 

The shop where I got my clear bra at has fomulated its own product for cleaning and waxing. Premier Protection (Fremont, CA). I've used their product on my clear bra. It works great. Google them, I believe they sell the product online.

 

they gave me a free can of Plexus. works real well. that's what they used to clean it.

yeah, its just a cleaning spray.

 

i am going to order some this week or so.. got mud guards on its way

 

i got the splash gaurds too, love the look.

 

Just had the 3m kit installed on my 09 TL. Looks average at best. I think the hood piece is cut wrong or installed wrong - it does not line up with the quarter panel pieces on either side. Also the film is not smooth it is somewhat rough. Can this be fixed, can they fix it with out messing up the paint?

 

well it comes off.. it does look rought but better to have the hood covered than to get it all chipped... where are u located
