How did I become a Hawks fan??? Original 6 Team, the best jersey in pro sports...Ed Belfour in goal-need I say more? As a matter of fact, my mask is the same as Eddie's when he first broke in to the league in 1990-92. Give them time to gel more-it will be great. Are you going to the New Year's Day game?

No. Actually, Steve, I'm not really into ice hockey. I'm more of a Bears and Cubs fan, although I root for all Chicago teams. My last Blackhawks game was 2 years ago when the company I used to work for bought out a huge section of skyboxes at the United Center......that was a blast! Have you tried Stubhub to see if tickets are available for the Wriglley game? (I can't imagine people sitting outside in Wrigley Field to watch a game in sub-freezing weather in January).

At first glance it looks like an Infiniti M35 with the 19" OEM sport rims.

Just sayin'.

Sadly, I think the designers wanted to it to look like an M45. What happened to the designers who made the 1999 TL? You know the long, low slung look?

You mean if she is ugly, you ARE NOT taking her home, right? LOL

long gone my friend. our wonderful american government regulations doesn't allow for the low slung look anymore. something about pedestrian laws. i remember soemoen saying that when the most recent accord came out and everyone was pining over why it couldn't have a low swooping front end vs that almost completely vertical front end.

i think its stupid. i mean i'm no scientist and i would assume there would be a pretty big difference with the two designs from a pedestrian safety stand point for them to actually enact legislation on it. but something tells me that u hit a dude doing anything over like 10 miles an hour ---it doesn't really matter how ur front end/hood looks like ur gonna f* him/her up pretty bad.

the only acura with this stupid ass grill that looks remotely decent is the TSX.

Actually it's just the opposite. In November 2003, the European Union Council adopted a directive on pedestrian safety with the aim to reduce deaths and injuries of pedestrians involved in traffic accidents through changes to the construction of the front of vehicles.

The U.S. has thus far made no pedestrian safety regulations. Why? For vehicles in Europe and Asia, bumpers are designed with larger crush space and with different supports for the plastic bumper cover in order to reduce leg injury. However, the softer bumpers don't perform well in the 5-mph bumper test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), so they generally aren't used on vehicles in the U.S. Also, the front airbag sensors located in the bumper are often too sensitive with the softer bumpers.

Bottom-line: the EU has more stringent safety regulations for pedestrians while the U.S. has tougher restrictions for the safety of the passengers. I'm sure these strategies will become more aligned in the future, but for now, the EU/Asia and the U.S. have different philosophies on regulating vehicle design for highway safety.

Thumbs up

I just saw these last week at the Acura dealer. 19 and summer tires looking pretty slick I must say.

Thats exactly what I want. Good find although it is not listed on ebay any more.

Cheers

Yeah I agree those BMW wheels would not look too good on a 3G TL. What I meant was if someone could photoshop the wheels I currently have (see above) onto a 4G TL...I think that would look good.

better yet.. how about make them "more functional",,

i think it would be rather easy.. take reflectors out, open them, put some red L.E.D. strips in, 3M tape the LED strips to the back part of the reflector, re-seal the reflectors, then just tap into the brake light wire for each side, install back on car,, ta-da.. you now have another set of L.E.D.tailights on your car, not just for a "cool look" but safety as well!

I'm just glad they're not rear fogs. Those things are annoying, and they're always used incorrectly and for no apparent reason.
