Canadian Model with wiper fluid sensor

Has anyone modded this part onto an American car? I don't understand why American models weren't equipped with this.

Come drive from Montreal to Ottawa in February right in the middle of a snow storm, around midnight with wind blowing the snow all over ...and then you'll see why Canadian models have a few things you don't really need in Florida For us up here this is just another long 2 hour drive home LOL.

You mean if my washer fluid is low, the car won't tell me? Even my 2002 Saab had that feature.

The Canadian version washer tank is a lot more than 2.5L as the US is. It could be that in northern US states they also sell the one with the 4.4 (I think?) Canadian tank capacity that also has the sensor at the bottom.
