I'm about to do a deal on a new 2012 TL with the Elite Pkg and for the life of me I can't decide between the BWP white and the forged metallic silver? What color do you guys feel the car looks better in? Out of the two that is...

Any opinions or feedback to sway me one way or the other would be appreciated.

I have the palladium metallic 2009 and love the color......

 

TL silver is kinda rare on the street though, I would pick it!

 

Silver is rare, but IMO it's hard to beat Bellanova White Pearl. But then I could be biased

 

I've had a silver 03 TL-S and now a BWP 2012 TL. Loved both colors but the thing about the white is every single dirt shows. The silver was a lot easier to maintain.

You can't go wrong either way.

 

I had a 4G in both White, and Silver (different colors though... White Diamond Pearl and Palladium Metallic)

the Palladium Metallic was unparalleled. It was the greatest color CAR I have ever owned. Paired with the 4G, my car got some serious looks...

However, the new Silver Moon or whatever, is a little more boring. plain old silver. The Palladium had a goldish/brown hue to it.

On the MMC 4G, I still like the Silver color better... The 4G TL has such a futuristic look to it, that silver compliments it very well... Everybody called my last 4G "the Spaceship"

 

I love both Forged Silver (most people here don't like it though because of the blue tinge but I like it especially for that reason!) BWP. I think it depends on where you are. If you need the colour to hide dirt, then Forged Silver. If you can keep the car clean all the time, the BWP is quite a beautiful and striking colour for the 2012 TL.

Personally, I would get the Forged Silver, because it is a unique colour, and it hides dirt well - we need that in Calgary here!!! Sigh....

One of the best decisions I've ever made was choosing this color TBH.

I went to the dealer again today and in the bright sun the white looks better but I agree 110% about silver being the best color for maintenance and always looking good. I'm a silver guy but I honestly think the car suits the white! The pain Both look great but I've never had such a hard time and been so indecisive.
So much for my poll it's a draw! LOL

Hey, Strosek, where in Canada are you? You should consider yourself very lucky that you even have a choice of colours for the Elite model!

Now, I don't know if this might help you - what colours are the interiors with either car? If the white comes with umber, then for crying out loud, get the BWP!!! White + umber is an uber-lux combo that is so rare and NOT available in the US!!!!!!!!!!!! If not, then it's really is a toss up....

 

I'm in the Toronto West area and my dealer does have a white with umber but I dont like it as much as the black... My dealer actually has all the colors available in the elite... they have at least two of everything!

Well I went back to the dealer AgAIN tonight and made my final decision! I plan on buying the Silver on black at 9:00am tomorrow morning. Not as exciting as the white but it's me!

YAY! You will love the Forged Silver with Black! It's a great colour. Also, in Toronto, you will do better with Forged Silver, because you do have weather (OK, most places in Canada has weather! LOL) and you will be so much happier during the winter months with the Forged Silver!

I was actually wanting a Forged Silver Elite initially but it was not available in Calgary then. Oh well....

White + Umber - you would have made some of our American posters turn green with envy if you had bought it.... :-)

IT's a BOY!! I did it!! Purchased a Silver on Black today and couldn't be happier!! I'm picking it up on Tuesday... Can't wait!!

Both colors are great-Silver is the most "forgiving" color of the two. It's easiest to maintain.
