we just noticed under 60mph in 6th gear if I barely touch gas and try to down shift the transmission can't its trying see video.
Any suggestions what it might be?
Car has 109k . 1 owner car all services done by acura dealership

 

When is the last time the fluid was changed? Acura recommends changing the fluid much more frequently than the manual states as the auto trans destroys the fluid very quickly. I end up doing a fluid change every other oil change since you can only get 3-4 quarts out at once and the trans holds about 9-10 quarts.

 

so we just bought the car few days ago. i did check the fluid and it does need to be changed. its not even red in color!!! i did call my local acura dealer, they are aware of the issue however they cannot just do a software update. they said they
have to do a transmission flush and then software update. he said a lot of times a flush would fix the issue,.
