4G Type S?

Considering the last two models had a type s towards their end of production, any idea if the 4G will have one also??

Not a chance, after Honda claimed that the AWD TL was already the higher-performance version in the 4G TL lineup, and so there was no need for an even higher performance Type-S trim.

Also, the aging J-series V6 design has long pass it's time, and so Honda is unable to squeeze any significant hp out of it. Until the new EarthDream V6 comes out, Honda has no engine that is significantly more powerful than the current J-series 3.7L-V6 to outfit an even higher performance "4G TL-S".

So the answer is NO.

They definitely could market it as a special edition or sport model without a bump in hp. Adding brembo's like the 3G type S, two tone interior, bring back the dual tips for the '12 model etc could be marketable...
