I plan to either do the filter change right before fluid change or immediately after.
On my change out it's certainly less than a quart.

I'm trying to find the correct pressure switches for the 2012 6AT, but I'm not entirely sure what's what.

Could it be the three #5 and three #6 parts? They're about $60 a piece, so they can get pretty costly.

Yes that's correct. This was a key component on the 5at for improving performance but I'm not sure if that still holds true for our 6at.

This is the first I'm hearing of tranny switch issues on 4G. I think this issue has be solved by H/A over 5-10 years ago. Last summer I changed the switches on my ex-gf's 2005 V6 accord w/140K and it made very little difference.

If you decide to change them ...

The one thing I've always wondered is why some switches fail faster than others? If you're driving in stop and go traffic, why wouldn't the first and second gear switches fail instead? It appears (for the 3G at least) that it's always the third and fourth gears.

For me right now it appears that fifth and sixth gears have the harshest upshift.

The switch "labels" refer to the clutches, not the gears. And the clutch labels don't necessarily correlate with the gear labels. I don't recall off hand exactly but the in theory the 4th clutch could be part of the 5th or 6th gear activation, etc, etc.
