I saw that in my latest car and driver magazine and was wondering the same thing. Seems like it would work, just wondering how it would look.

Actually its more like $45.00 bucks for the kit since that's just for The 3M/Paint defender spray... The 3M/Paint defender spray trigger is $7 bucks and the 3M/Paint defender application kit includes masking tape and plastic sheeting is for around $12 bucks. Still a pretty good deal if applied correctly.

Not bad. I am driving from WV to Tampa at the end of the month and just got the armor all spray shield. I actually might get this instead and return the shield stuff.

Thanks for the idea OP.

I tried it last Sunday after washing, clay bar, and waxing my car. Didn't work too well for me. Klumps of it kept shooting out and the instructions said it can even out, but it didn't in my case. Also when fully dried, some spots were visually and physically rough, while other spots were smooth.

Wasted ~$60 for 2 cans and masking tape kit in my opinion/trial.

nothing works as good as the vinyl one.. save your money..

this is just as bad as plastidip.

it probably would work good on small surface areas such as mirrors and the grill.. but nothing like a large size hood or bumper.

^Yeah, your right about that. The mirrors turned out decent at least for me.
