I based it on what prior cars like it have sold for and what one of the Mods suggested as a price range (20-25k).
It's a manual, it has 51K miles and its been babied. There are really no other cars like it out there, at least mileage wise.
I've gotten a few offers on it, less than asking so far so I am giving it a bit of time.
It is 22k or best offer. I figured I would place it here before putting it out to other sites because for all things Acura, this is my home

Your car is in great shape with low miles. I think you're right on target for the price. The casual buyer will pass and say it's too expensive, but for an enthusiast looking for an MT-equipped sedan, it'll get snapped up. It might take a little longer to sell because your core buyers group is smaller, but someone in that group will readily recognize the value this represents.
Good luck with the sale and let us know what you end up selling it for. My 2010 is in about the same shape as yours, but with a little more mileage -- 71K. Still makes me smile every time I drive it.

Thanks man. It is a great car and I don't REALLY want to see it go, but sometimes family needs > individual needs. I tried to be fair with the pricing. It is 22K or best offer so we will see. I'm a few days from putting it on Auto trader and other places. For reference, I've compared it with a brand new RDX I am getting, I would say my TL still has a better interior despite being older.
I ended up selling my 2G MT Legend on Autotrader after trying here and some other forums. The guy who bought it drove almost 500 miles to pick the car up, and brought a box of cash with him.
I think what happens these days is that someone who's an enthusiast will see your car, post it online somewhere, and then you will start getting barraged with people interested in it. That's been my experience.
Every time I take my TL in for service (which is not that often) at least one person at the dealer asks me to give them first shot at it when I decide to sell it. I don't think you'll have any problem selling the car for a good price.

I just bought a 2013 TL with tech package. They wanted 14500 i got them down to 11500, it has 130k miles. I've had new tires put on, new spark plugs and tyranny serviced, and oil changed. It runs like a champ after plugs. I love it. Check the car fax. I took it to the Acura dealership for inspection and they were so awesome. Could have milked me for money but didn't at all. Only thing I need now are some LED headlights. Good luck with your purchase

I wouldn't switch to LED headlights. The HIDs in our cars have fantastic light coverage. you might need to aim your headlights to point further down the road if they're not at factory height. I'd definitely upgrade your bulbs to a higher quality HID. You can get them on theretrofitsource.com. Stick with Osram branded bulbs, IMO they're the best quality and offer the most "LUX". Either the "CBI" (cool blue intense) or the "NBL" night breaker laser. I have the NBL bulbs, they're very bright. TRFS also has LED upgrade fog lights that you'd have to replace the fog housing with. I heard the Morimoto XB led fog lights are pretty good.

First off, welcome to the Acura team! i've owned 4 now. Currently have a '12 SH-AWD 6MT. They're great cars! The SH-AWD trim handles fantastic and the ELS surround sound is killer good.

so I went to the site you told me about but I have no idea what to order. I would like to stick with HID bulbs and the brand you recommended but don't know the lingo so unsure what to order. I would like to replace both low beam and high beam bulbs. Since it's so expensive to pay someone whose willing to do it is like to do it all at once. Can you advise me on what to order for that please. Also can you recommended window visor rain guards at all? Thank you in advance

You were definitely right here. I sold my car for asking price and could have sold it for more but I already agreed to a deal so I would never back out of a agreed upon price. I didn't get any offers I thought were serious on Acurazine but got over 20 guys interested once I put it online. Overall, a pretty solid investment, I paid about 6-7 thousand for a car I had almost 8 years. It pays to take good care of your cars, and of course to have a manual
These are solid, great cars (especially in 6MT/SHAWD trim) that are holding up (and holding their value) well. I wish there were a slightly modernized version I could buy for my next car -- say a TLX Type S with 6MT! As is, I'm rolling into year 14 with my car next March and it still drives great and looks good.

Outstanding. You definitely made a good initial buy with the TL, as did your buyer. Congrats on the sale!

And honestly, I had people offer me MORE than what I listed it for (of course this was after a deal was agreed upon)
I hope my RDX holds its value just as well, but who knows with electric cars and all, but its a great truck nonetheless...

Agree. "Holding their value" is an understatement for the Manual versions at least. My car sold for almost 8k more than its KBB value.
