2010 TL Back seat removal?

I am trying to install some H&R sport springs that i purchased for my 2010 Acura TL and I am having some problems with the back springs. Does anyone know of a thread here in Acurazine that can explain how to remove the back seat so that i can remove the shocks in the back?

Thank you.

should be like most acuras.

there's a 10mm or 11mm bolt located behind each headrest.
and theres's a few 10mm or 11mm bolts in the crease where the top part and bottom part join.
lastly, there's clips on the bottom seat.

If you're doing this by yourself, when unhooking or pulling the back seat up, do not try to do it in the middle of the seat. You will struggle mightily. There are 2 hooks, one on each side. Unhook them one side at time. Much easier or just have 2 people on each side unhook it the same time.

Whenever I come across a thread I may want to refer to at a later date I bookmark it. That was one of them.

Great tip TeamAcura...I'll keep that in mind next time I do it b/c I went from the middle last time and it was a bitch.

I just did this two weeks ago. Take the bottom seats out first. In the middle of each bucket seat between the carpet and seat is a black tab. With one hand apply pressure directly over the tab and with your other hand grab the tab and slightly lift up. It should come off easily. Once the bottom cushion is out there will be 4 screws that you can see. I believe they are 12mm. unscrew those and, then like mentioned earlier, lift up on the back rest while giving it a slight rearward tilt. Repeat for the other side and just lean the back rest forward. There are nice pics here:

I used these directions to install my own springs alone.
