$399 to Tint TL - Madico Tints

Just got a quote to tint all of the windows in my 2012 Advance to state maximums (front side 50%, rear side & back 35%) with Madico tints. $599 but "on sale" to $399.

Does this seem like a good deal?

Virginia is apparently very strict on tint percentages, unfortunately, so this is as dark as I can go.

I've only paid between $200 - $250 for getting tint. $399 seems high.

Yeah, that's about double what I paid for my Llumar 15%. Not sure how it compares in quality though.

I pay 3M for 180 on any 4 door car. There are shops though that charge more and they don't even do a good job. I also got a lifetime warranty against fade and any rips or tears in the tint and against it coming off the window.

I always have paid $175-$200 in Florida. It was $225 for "ceramic" tint in NY when I got my last car done. ($175 would have been the regular tints)
All with lifetime guarantees against peeling or fading.

Unless they are the only tint shop in the state - find someone else not to rip you off.

I payed $100 and the guy did a perfect job. Not a single bubble or anything plus lifetime warrenty. Don't pay $400, I'm sure you can find someone for at least half the price

$399 sounds like a price the dealer would charge you for tint. $150-$200 here in the NYC area, could be based on the fact that there are a lot of places that tint.

My cousin lives in PA (Pocono area) and said there aren't many places that tint. He was quoted a low of $279 to have his ATS tinted. During one of his visits a couple of months ago he had it done here for $160.

That's where the $399 quote was from.

If you ever have business in the Northern Virginia area, Tint FX in Fairfax, VA does an outstanding job and they have amazing reviews on yelp. Had my car done there for about $275. If you do come by the area, I recommend calling to place an appointment.

You can order pre cut tint for certain cars, but the quality is usually crap.

Wow, trying to think of the place that did mine. Paid 225 for ceramic with lifetime warranty. Anything over 250 is too much for me.

Thats way to high bro. I got mine done from Cutting Edge tinting in Gaithersburg in October last year. Paid 190.00 for 50% all around. The work and the material has lifetime warranty. My brother got 35% all around from the same guy for the same material. Paid the same amount too. So I guess the price dont change between 35% and 50%. No complaints with the work whatsoever.

As far as I can remember, the dude was charging around 400 bucks for the Ceramic ones.

What ^she^ said. I will not pay that much for the regular tint. That is a total rip off for the regular film tint.

RPM is a rip. I guessed them immediately when I saw you were from RVA. I have been looking around to get mine tinted and will most likely head north to do so because RPM does the best job in RVA and knows it so their prices are outrageous.
