Loose drivers seat
Loose drivers seat
2022 Advance, have begun to notice some slight movement/shifting on the drivers seat particularly in the front right portion of the seat upon acceleration and braking. It seems to be getting worse as more time passes, currently at 9,000 miles. My spouse doesn’t feel it, but I think that is due to the differences in our weights. I found the following post on MDXer’s but there was never any resolution. Please let me know if you are experiencing a similar issue.
“Hello all - my wife drives a ‘22 Tech with 19k miles, and recently she said the drivers seat “felt loose”, I took the car for a spin and upon accelerating from a stop, you can def feel the slightest click/shift in the seat, very noticeable on the bolstering by the right thigh.I took the car to my dealer, and the service department that level of movement was normal, and nothing they could do. Fast forward a couple months and it’s getting worse, and now it makes a slight clicking noise as well.”
To validate neither of us are crazy, my brother in law borrowed our car and upon returning, the first thing he said was “dude what’s up with the drivers seat, it clicks and moves”

I'm having a similar problem with my 2022 MDX Advance. The right side of the seat feels a little loose and moves when I accelerate or brake. I was vacuuming the area between the seat and center console and found a big screw which must have come from the seat. And today I noticed a tear in the leather on the seat. Time to take it to the dealer I guess.
