Working on it . I need to sit in the MDX while running to see if that Reinsert Drive window pops up again.

I did get the reinsert drive window once at first but when I pulled the USB drive out and reinserted it the update began properly.

I’ve had the reinsert drive window pop up numerous times. I think I will reformat the drive again and download it another time. Fingers crossed. I’ve never had a problem with the previous 3 or 4 updates I’ve done.

Any idea about how long it took? I kept getting the reinsert usb a few times so i reformatted and reloaded the maps again. I've been on numerous drives of 20 minutes to 1/2 hour and it's still not completed. Does anyone know if the map is still loading after I shut off the MDX and sit in it and listen to the radio or does it have to be running? All previous updates never took this long and I never had the reinsert drive message previous to this update.

My updates take about 35-40 minutes or so and I drive that entire time. I believe if you shut off the vehicle prior to the maps updating the update “starts” over.

After driving 900 miles and trying both the USB on the dash and the one in the middle compartment, still no update. I did occasionally see a message that it did not load when I started and stopped within a short drive, but no messages after a long drive, just no update.

I am experiencing the exact Same thing. Despite that the Pop up Window has come up a number of times o re-insert the Flash Drive into the USB, my update has not been completed. This never happened in the prior updates I've done in 30 months of ownership. I have NOT just let the car sit running for over 45 minutes. In the past, I would iunsert the update on a FD, drive around for days, and then get the screen that the Map has been updated.
