Auto Stop/Start
/I hate this feature, as I’m sure many others do. I know how to turn it off with the switch, but there is also an “Individual “ setting that supposedly deactivates it permanently. Well, mine doesn’t seem to work. Anybody know how to fix this?

Advanced
I don't know where you're getting the advice re the "individual setting" to deactivate auto-stop/start. If true, then it should be spelled out in the Owners Manual, but you'll be looking a VERY long time to find a setting that does not exist.

When you setup the Individual driving mode one of the things you can set is the “auto start/stop” to be disabled. Keep in mind you’ll have to push the driving mode button in after starting the car to enable the “Individual mode”. So yes within the Individual driving mode you can disable auto start/stop. There’s other benefits to setting up the individual driving mode that you’ll see when setting it up.

Thanks for these replies. MidWest, yes I know how to do the Individual setup, but it doesn’t actually work for the stop start. Maybe I need to go back to the dealer.

Individual doesn't deactivate autostop permanently, it only deactivates it when individual is selected. You have to select individual at every start to get your stored individual settings (including disabled autostop).
Acura doesn't have a way to permanently disable autostop, others have said if it were permanently disable-able then EPA would not allow Acura to claim autostop's 1mpg savings on a window sticker.
There are 3rd party dongles that you can install behind the dash that can override these default settings including autostop, but nothing direct from Acura.
