Next-Generation Acura MDX Prototype Set to Debut October 14

Agreed! My Hybrid beasts through corners like cake compared to my Lexus IS350 Fsport with wider 245F/265R tires. My buddy who drives a 3series 335i test drove my Hybrid the other day and started smiling and responded with "Now I see why you bought this SUV"
Since Acura is keeping the 3.5 V6 with I assume the same tune as the RLX Hybrid, the chances of a Hybrid version is a lot better than I expected.

Not me, plan to tow a 2k tent trailer plus gear. NO hybrid for me. Seems like such a waste of an suv (hybrid) because you are limited on what you can do. Can’t tow anything, what’s the use? Do they also limit the amount of weight you can carry in the hybrid?😝

Acura just needs to offer a regular AT instead of the DCT with the hybrid system to add towing back into the mix.

The electronic dampers along with tq vectoring and regen braking with or without engine power makes the hybrid very stable and enjoyable sporty ride at any speed.

For starters, spending 50-60k, I would want it protected in a garage, vandalism, out in the weather, someone side swiping it, so and so forth, shall I go on? Common sense dictates you keep in a garage, but common sense is sometimes not common at all✌️

Common sense dictates you keep your more expensive car in the garage, but there's nothing inherently bad about parking it outside. I guess it depends on where you live...if you live the the ghetto sure probably not a great idea, but in the suburbs on a driveway? Vandalism and getting side swiped seems fairly unlikely.

oh yeah and in these shitty times, many many losers are out prowling cars EVERYWHERE, and I certainly do not live in the ghetto, far from it.

rodents eating a wiring harness? Tree sap, pine needles, bird shit, want me to keep going on? If you have a garage and are not using for your expensive new car, you are just plain stupid and a douche bag IMO🤦♂️

That is not what I said, go back and reread it. Your just trying to twist my words around, your probably a Biden supporter🤮. If you have a garage that fits your car, why why wouldn’t you use it? If you don’t have a garage, maybe you should build one or buy a car that is within your means? Prius hybrid perhaps? That I would park on the street, but wouldn’t need to worry about that because I would never own one.

Yes, they did leave it off. Along with the 360 surround camera and a couple of other items that are on higher end Accords and the TLX 4 cyl Advance.
Not options, simply not available at all!
What they included was enough weight to make it barely quicker than my 14 year old '07 Type S 6MT.
I've waited a long time for a new Type-S. After all the past year of hype I am sorely disappointed.
