Is this a known issue?

Hi, am considering the MDX for my next vehicle (coming from an RDX). Have been doing some research and watching some videos when I came across this

https://youtu.be/0ebZ-CsJHlw

Is this a known issue? Has anyone here experienced this? Or maybe this person got a lemon?

thanks!

I came from a 2019 RDX Aspec SH-AWD model that I had for just over 3 years. I now have a 2022 MDX Type S Advance and have had it for 2 months now. That issue has NOT happened to me.

I have had a 2022 MDX Advance for one year. Now 7500 miles. Have not encountered this issue.

Same. Had our 22 Aspec for little over 10 months - no issues. Must be a one off. This is easily the best MDX we owned - and we're on our 3rd MDX.

Keep in mind MDX had an infotainment update in May, and that addressed quite a few issues. My MDX came with the May update and the infotainment has been generally stable, but still with hiccups like no audio once or twice. A reboot clears those hiccups though. The next infotainment update shouldn't be too far away.

19-21 RDX uses a different, slower infotainment hardware. I have one and in my experience, the infotainment is definitely less stable than MDX.

My '20 RDX is still in beta. I don't remember signing up to be a beta tester... It's pretty bad.

Nice to hear the MDX is better as I can't seem to get away from Acura and as much as I say I'm going to get an X5 PHEV I know I'm going to talk myself out of it and end up with an MDX...
