I am at 5300 miles. Am seeing a 50% oil life remaining and an A1 display as I cycle thru menus. Am not seeing an orange A1 warning message when first starting car as in past models. Have they removed the orange alert warning? Was confused by A1 being displayed at relatively low miles. Any thoughts? Thank you. I plan to call dealer service department.

 

I think the “orange warning” comes on at 15% life remaining. If you think about it why have it be orange for several thousand miles if it started at 50%.

 

Thanks. Am surprised at seeing A1 at 50% oil life remaining. Last vehicles I was always down to 15% or lower.

 

It lets you know what to expect for your next maintenance. Probably useful for DIYers to plan ahead, but I have seen on RDX that an A forecast at 20%+ oil life turned into B when the oil really needs changing, so yeah I don't think the information is that useful.
