2023 MDX Hood Flutter

Hi
Anyone seeing the hood skin flutter on highway speeds. Trying to get the TSB from 2007 had exact same issue. Anyone know how I can get the PDF.

YES! Thank you for posting this--I thought I was crazy for seeing it. If there's a TSB, I will gladly take it to my dealer to have the fix done.

Open the hood and find the two rubber supports it rests on. They twist and you can raise their height to make it have a tighter fit when latched. I did this on my RDX and it helped. There is still some movement but you will never get rid of it completely with a big hood made of thinner metal.

I have noticed it on my 2023 ASPEC as well. Very small movements but it has to do with the thinner material. Raising the hood slam bump stops could help reduce that but its the outer layer of the hood that is moving

Yea, it wont get rid of it completely but on my RDX they werent very tight so it helped a bit.

I'm sure I'll have to wait for a TSB that applies to current-gen models, even though I'm fairly certain from reading these posts that the same situation is causing it.

Since a service bulletin was issued years ago, I would suspect, indeed I would hope, that Honda corrected the issue as they progressed through subsequent model years.
