I cant say that I "wish" we had one but I do think we need one. I can undersatnd about the integra and the rsx not having fourms, but I do think it is time for a MDX fourm.

Search. This has been discussed numerous times.

There already is an MDX forum out there that serves their needs quite well. No need for another.

I know there are a few others out there for the MDX, but i just was wondering what the reason is that there isn't an MDX forum when there is an RDX forum... there's a CL forum, CL no longer made; RDX forum, not made yet. I really think the driver's of MDXs are the same type of demographic that are driving things like TLs and RLs. Evidently, the site 'motto' of "The Acura Owner and Enthusiast Community" needs an exception after it, "Only if you drive a TL, RL, TSX, or CL... or plan on maybe buying an RDX".

Maybe it's just me, but it just doesnt make sense that we have an RDX, but no MDX forum when the RDX isn't even out yet... I maybe can kinda understand that the moderators/owners dont want the forum to get too big by adding NSXs, RSXs, Integras, Legends, Vigors, etc... but... considering the MDX and NSX are currently made, i just was wondering why are they missing?? It's not like if we have an MDX forum we're gonna get 50,000 ricers with 8" tachs and 10" tail pipes joining...

I have an 02 MDX and have been a member over there since 02. There is also a great Legend forum already. This is the best TL and related forum. It's not that hard to click over to match your needs.

yeah, im sure they do... a lot of members who own CLs/TLs/TSXs/RLs, might also own an MDX... so im not sure if you are supporting my claim that there should be an MDX forum or not supporting it....

I voted no. There is already a great established MDX Forum. I certainly don't need another one, sorry.

There is a decent MDX site out there, out of common courtesy we sought not to compete since they were doing just fine serving the needs of the MDX community.

However, since we appear to be in competition over the upcoming RDX, we may as well compete on the MDX as well. We will eventually add an MDX forum, when the time is right.

The RSX, it will never happen. The RSX is definately the most profitable audience so far as Acura owners on the internet go, but I just have no desire to babysit 50,000 kids...

I didn't mean "a CL" was the forum address... especially since you can't have spaces in domain names... I meant... there is a "CL" forum that is popular... I didn't remember what the address is, I just know of a guy who has a TL and is often sending me links to it.

FYI:

A-CL is a shorthand for acura-cl.com which was started around april 2000. A-CL was the seed that grew into the forum you know today as acurazine.

History of this site is loosely documented here in this thread (originally posted on the TL site before the forum merge):

Maybe you can make the non RSX forums 21 and up. Just have to set the permissions on the forums.
