Here's some pics from last summer. I love them.. Full stiff is too harsh, full soft makes them feel like a boat, so in between is something that everyone should find good.

Throw up some pics and a small review.

The ISCs are a great option for the TL.

XLR8 should run some shock dynos on the coilovers and see just how rebound adjustable they are.

What has everyone done to accommodate the adjustable dampening knob up front on the Type S? Just wondering how many have either (a) cut the factory brace, (b) replaced with the RV6 brace, or (c) just take the brace off and insert the knob to make adjustments on an as needed basis?

I'd leave it off until you set it how you like it, then put the brace back on and forget about it...

^^^

I did the same....but since I was driving back and forth to Chicago with the wifey and driving in the city alone, I went ahead with the RV6 brace so I can change it to stiff in the city and soft before the 600 mile drive

How much of a pain is it to get to the rear adjustment? Do you have to take out the back deck everytime? Or did you set it mid way and forget it?

^^^ I did see someone cutting a little tab in the rear deck cover to just slip in a wrench and turn the dampening knob....

my car is gutted out, so I like to experiment....but once I got to where I like (and no more long trips) I dont mess with it anymore....so I suggest, leave the rear seats/deck out for a while...once you get to where you like, put everything back in

I know, eh? Bumpers kinda rough around the edges a little clear coat peeling by the grill and a scrape on the bottom. I want a Type S bumper and Aspec on the front, so I might just replace the bumper/grills and do that for the front.

Gotta see what kinda damage being that low through a NS winter/driving on NS roads does to the stock bumper first lol.

not happy about isc coilover... I bought my coilover this summer... they have run great about 3 to 4 months... but now i have fucking clunking noise from my front left coilover... the preload is good... all the ring are tight and the 19 mm is tight too... i don't know what is wrong... but it's look like i have already a blown shock or top plate issue.... i'm really disppointed about this coilover...

I think ISC is working for a solution on this....nothing is blown....

where is/what level is your dampening set to?
