will this rub?

i'm going to order my rims within the next couple days, i need to know this for sure... i plan on getting H&R OE springs for my drop with 19x7.5" +45 offset rims.... can i get 225-40 tires without rubbing? or will i have to get the 225-35's? wanted a slightly thicker profile for obvious reasons (safer, fills gap a lil more), please help, thanks!

IMO, I would go with 235/35/19.

Yes, it will rub. But it's not the tire size. It's your offset. You might want to get 49 or 50 offset.

If you're getting 19X7.5, you might want to go with 225/35/19.

+45 on 19s is too low of an offset, I can guarantee you will rub. I think around +48 is the lowest number you can go with in 19s and not rub. If I was you, I wouldn't want to take the chance, rims/tires get EXPENSIVE if you have to keep buying and selling them. Good luck

i thought the +50 or so offset was for 8" width rims and that +45 was ok for 7.5" width wheels... is this wrong?

u might have to go with a 225\35 tire & roll up your fenders so that they fit..well I got racing hart cr in a 2pc & I went with a +51 offset with 235\35\19 tire...

19x7.5 +45 offset will work fine. And definately get 225/35/19 tires. If you were to get 19x8 then you would need an offset close to +50 or higher.
