Will '04-'07 Base TL rims fit '07 TLS?
hey guys,

im in really a rush to confirm this answer.

will the 04-07 base tl rims fit the 07 TLS, will it clear the brembo brakes in front?

The '04-'06 will present no problem as they are used on the 6 M/T w/Brembos, but the '07-'08 base wheels, although they will fit, they are too close to the calipers, actually clooser than what Brembo recommends, so a thin spacer is recommended.

Also consider....
04-05 TL wheels do not have TPMS sensors. 06 wheels have TPMS.
The 07-08 Base (split spoke design) wheels have TPMS and also fit w/ OEM Brembo's.

you can still put TPMS onto 04-05 wheels

thanks for clarifying, as I was about to put in a little warning.

Powerflow has the 07-08 rimz on his brembo equipped TL.

looks like i'm in this dilemna now too.. considering trading my 08 TL base navi for a 08 TL-S 6MT. I have the stock split spoke 17s equipped with winter tires and for summer, got the 18" a-specs. SOOO.. what to do? going to go take a look at the S today and if it drives well, make an offer. SHOULD I trade the 08 TL in with stockies w/snows OR trade it in with 18" A-specs with BRAND NEW all seasons? damn... !

keep the aspecs with All season tires....

you will get more for the snow tires as winter is right around the corner for you Canadian folks....
