Wheel spacers VS Wider wheels

Hey guys, so I hope I'm not asking something that's been asked a hundred times already but I couldn't seem to find the answers I was looking for! So I have a completely stock 08 Acura TL and am looking to make it look a little more aggressive. I'd like wider tires and wheels but I've been thinking about getting wheel spacers for the time being. I was thinking either 25/20 or 30/25 wheel spacers but would like to know if anyone has any experience with these and maybe some pictures/advice. I'm just worried about the long term effects of wheel spacers that large and if wider wheels also strain wheel bearings like I've heard wheel spacers do. Thanks in advance guys!

I don't have much wheel experience, but I think the prevailing advice is go with the wheel specs you like without needing spacers. This will be the most dependable in terms of stability and wear on components. However, I like the OEM wheel look, but the 45 offset for our wheels is just poop. I went with 20/25 spacers (H&R, so the quality should be solid) for my 18x8 ASPECs and I like it. It would be great if the wheels were 8.5", but I certainly like what I have in terms of overall finish and appearance. The only thing with pushing the wheels out a bit with spacers, is that I notice the natural camber more. Thinking of getting a basic SPC rear kit to bring camber into spec.
