I've got a 05 TL base auto and would like to upgrade to an Aspec suspension with type s wheels.

Honda/Acura Canada is clearing out their stock of "enhancement" parts for the 3rd gen TL. Dealers in our area (Vancouer, BC) are advertising 07-08 Type S A-Spec suspension kits for sale, $325Cdn for the AT and $375Cdn for the MT.

Current exch rate is about $1.07Cdn to $1US, so you'd get about $1.04 thru your credit card company, making the AT one about $312US and the MT one $360US.

I expect shipping of these susp kits will be expensive from Canada to the US (big heavy box), and the dealer may not want to go thru the hassle of shipping (Customs, etc) but if you are near the border you could try calling a Cdn Acura or Honda dealer near you and see if they will sell a set to you at the above prices. Might be worth the drive.

They're also selling off decklid wings and spoilers, and some sideskirts. If anybody is interested in seeing the most recent craigslist ad from Sept 8 PM me and I'll send the link.

I got my MT suspension set from a local Honda dealer after talking about that ad. They matched the price. While picking up the kit the parts guy I was talking to offered a factory painted AM rear lip spoiler (the one that needs two holes drilled) for $120Cdn. He ordered it in for another customer that ended up not buying it. I'm still considering whether I want to get it and drill holes in the rear deck.

you know what it is, since ive recently made my account on the forums it doesnt let me until i have a certain amount of posts. Maybe if you can, email it? ralphyg@vzw.blackberry.net if you have some time that would be great. i just bought my TL and actually trying to make it real nice. so if you may know some good sites where i can get some mods..the dealer gave me a price of 847 with tax for the a-spec lip kit but im not sure if thats a good price or not. need some opinions
