YA your right...they d look better....its just weird cuz the spokes are machined and the lip is like shiny black...they would be 20inchers with a 40 ofset, do you think that will cause rubbing or the wheels sticking out a bit?

What is a good offset for a 19 or 20 inch rim which wont cause it to rub or poke out?

Since you have a base TL, you can run an offset anywhere between +45mm to +30mm relatively safely. The "lower" your offset, i.e., the lower your #, the farther away from your wheel hub the wheel will fit. The "higher" your offset, i.e., the higher your #, the closer your wheel will sit to the brake caliper/wheel hub.

As for your choice of wheels, I say, "NO!".

Yikes....no!

I find that a 5 spoke design tends to suit the TL well.

^BTW I know that pickens are slim for wheels in Ottawa but check out 1010tires.com for a greater selection. They're Canadian so shipping, Customs etc will be easier on the wallet.

Also, Camco has a sale on right now for A-Spec wheels.

The rim looks a bit busy for our TL, i think. The wheel does not compliment the car, but rather directs one's view towards the wheel alone.
