I own a 2007 Type S and I received the car with insane curb rash and rim damage. I'm getting them repaired but I can't find the Paint Code of the OEM colour. I know they came in 2 different shades, I prefer the darker one but does anybody the exact paint code? Thanks!

theres no exact code i believe but its extremely similar to anthracite metallic on the 04-06 TLs. some ppl use touchup paint from that color to fix small rash

There is no paint code. However there is a paint that can match it almost perectly. Search for type-s wheel paint color. It has been posted serveral times I just cant remeber the color paint code. You can get it at autozon, advance, etc.

I have looked through the threads and bought 3 different ones, not all of my rims are the same shade, i believe i have 2 lighter rims and 2 darker.. with that being said i have the anthracite metallic touch up, i also found (with the help of other threads): Dupli-Color NGGM435 Light Gray Metallic, and Dupli-Color NGGM396 Gunmetal Metallic.

depending on which rim and where the rash is, i put blue tape next to it, and put some of the touch up on there to see which would blend the best. It can get tedious but it has worked for me to get the most color match.

OP, or if the wheels are as bad as you say they are, just have them professionally repaired and you don't have to worry about touching them up and matching colors. Plus touchup sometimes even looks worse than the scratch itself lol. Just a thought as wheel repair guys are actually pretty reasonable, and you'll be left with like new looking wheels. Glad you're getting that taken care of, curb rash is a pet peeve of mine lol. I usually get the impression a person is a shitty driver if they cant seem to stop dragging their car along things.

going through this exact same process as we speak. theres no exact code! it sucks. first my gf curbed the front psngr side then I went through the car wash and had a big hack in my drivers side front rim. I'm furious. just going to bring it to a professional. I also have the darker shade and he said it should not be a problem to match it at all.

lol, it's not that bad, in certain light you can certainly tell the different shades but i'd rather spend my money on another set of aftermarket rims than try to remedy that.. lol
